Coltène/Whaledent introduces the BioSonic® Ultrasonic Scaler, Model US-100. The BioSonic scaler features large, easy-to-read dials for controlling both the ultrasonic power and water supply. The US-100 accepts competitive inserts, and operates at either 25 kHz or 30 kHz. The unit also is equipped with a "turbo" button to instantly set maximum power, without having to readjust the preferred power settings. The unit`s small footprint facilitates placement in any operatory.
The BioSonic Ultrasonic inserts feature a unique ergonomic grip designed to reduce fatigue and improve operator comfort. They are fully interchangeable with other manufacturer`s magnetostrictive scaler units. Inserts are available in the popular straight #10 tip, both in 25 kHz (US1025K) and 30 kHz (US1030K).
