The Leica Autostainer XL is designed especially for routine staining in the histopathology laboratory. Featuring flexibility and reliability, the Autostainer XL has become one of the most successful within its class as 2,000 laboratories worldwide are using it.
The most powerful feature of the Leica Autostainer XL stainer is that it can be used for routine H&E staining alone or simultaneously with other staining protocols. The tissue sections adhere firmly to the slides, and staining results are exceptionally reproducible. Because of its simple and logical operation, the Autostainer XL makes daily use especially easy and efficient.
The microprocessor-controlled Leica Autostainer XL has 15 programs for operation. Together with these programs, the Leica stainer system also carries a trouble-free, stainless steel robot arm which moves swiftly and quietly on the x, y and z motion axes to process slide racks.
Additionally, the Leica Autostainer XL has an innovative continuous load and unload drawer access and robot arm system that lets you continue slide processing without stopping instrument operation. Reagent containers of the Autostainer XL can also be quickly and easily exchanged. Exposure to hazardous reagent fumes is even minimized.
