Overview
The Palltronic Flowstar V integrity test instrument is an essential tool to support a contamination control strategy (CCS). The systems achieve high accuracy with direct flow measurement, data integrity with compliance to 21 CFR Part 11 and ALCOA+ principles, and advanced automation capabilities with centralized data management and control.

Our base Palltronic Flowstar V instrument (product code FFS05) supports a wide range of filter integrity tests. It performs forward flow (FF), bubble point (BP), and combined FF/BP tests for liquid filters. For gas filters, it uses the water intrusion test (WIT) method. The AquaWIT V system is recommended for automated, in-situ water intrusion testing of gas filters.
Supplemental software, hardware and accessories
Data management system (DMS) Pro software The DMS Pro software is designed to automatically manage data across multiple Palltronic Flowstar V instruments simultaneously. It allows for centralized and continuous back up of data such as test results, test programs, users, settings, and audit trails. DMS Pro software minimizes the labor needed to manually manage information across multiple units.
mPath™ Operation Insights Software (OIS) The mPath™ OIS software allows users to monitor and analyze performance across multiple Palltronic Flowstar V instruments. It also provides troubleshooting guidance on integrity test failures. Results can be analyzed in numerous ways, including by instrument, operator, or filter to help identify areas for improvement. mPath software reduces the time spent investigating non-value added events such as false test results and errors.
PAS-X MES Plug & Play automation software PAS-X software enables the instrument to be connected to a manufacturing execution system (MES) for remote control of integrity testing. In addition, it provides real-time access to test progress and results, traceability across batch and lot numbers, and automated retrieval of test records. PAS-X software reduces the labor required to perform testing and reduces the risk of human error.
Network integration Connect multiple integrity testers to the facility network using a variety of connections such as OPC-UA, Profibus, PROFINET, DeviceNet, and serial RS232.
Palltronic Flowstar V MUX multiple filter testing instrument The Palltronic Flowstar V MUX instrument allows the user to perform up to 16 filter integrity tests sequentially without operator intervention. This reduces the need for separate Palltronic Flowstar V instruments and the time required for an operator to set up each filter integrity test, monitor test execution, and disassemble.
Thermal printer and paper The thermal printer for the Palltronic Flowstar V integrity test instrument delivers accurate printouts on long-lifetime Mitsubishi HiTec thermal paper.
Barcode reader Mitigates risks of manual entry errors of test parameters (quality risk management).
