The Thermo Shandon Histocenter 3′s embedding center smart-timer digital control will have the unit at temperature and ready for use when you arrive at work. At the end of the day, the unit will turn itself off. Features auto-on light setting, when paraffin is dispensed the light automatically illuminates and when embedding is finished, the light automatically shuts off.

The large tissue storage tank, with removable lid holds, 200 molds and is able to hold 6 Shandon Pathcentre® baskets, 8 Shandon Excelsior™ baskets, 2 Shandon Hypercenter® baskets and all competitor’s baskets. An easy to drain tissue storage tank reduces the possibility of specimen contamination, and smooth surfaces interface evenly with the cold plate module, which makes cleaning a snap.
