Easily and efficiently perform magnetic cell separation on up to 16 samples simultaneously using the EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet with selected EasySep™ reagents. The EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet has a large sample range, capable of processing small samples, starting at 0.1 x 108 cells, to larger samples, up to 8.5 x 108 cells. This magnet is designed to hold up to 8 standard 5 mL (12 x 75 mm) round-bottom tubes on one side, and 8 standard 14 mL (17 x 95 mm) round-bottom or 15 mL conical tubes on the other side.

Product Description
The EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet is an anodized aluminum body housing rare earth magnetic elements. The EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet is
designed for cell separation procedures using selected EasySep™ reagents when processing up to 16 samples at a time. It is designed to hold up
to:
• 8 standard 5 mL (12 x 75 mm) polystyrene round-bottom tubes (e.g. Catalog #38007), and
• 8 standard 14 mL (17 x 95 mm) polystyrene round-bottom tubes (e.g. Catalog #38008)
OR
8 standard 15 mL (17 x 118 mm) conical tubes (e.g. Catalog #38009)

STRONG MAGNETIC FIELD: Keep away from pacemakers, magnets, computer disks, watches, and other objects that respond to magnetic fields.
Do not remove the screws from the bottom of the magnet.

Directions for Use
The EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet is only for use with certain EasySep™ kits. For more information, refer to the appropriate EasySep™ Product
Information Sheet.

One side of the EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet (STEMCELL Technologies logo) is designed to hold up to 8 x 5 mL (12 x 75 mm) polystyrene round-bottom tubes (e.g. Catalog #38007). The other side is designed to hold up to 8 x 14 mL (17 x 95 mm) polystyrene round-bottom tubes (e.g. Catalog #38008) or 8 x 15 mL (17 x 118 mm) conical tubes (e.g. Catalog #38009).  After completing a cell separation, use a serological pipette to remove the supernatant; do not pour off. Use either a 2 mL (e.g. Catalog #38002) or a 10 mL (e.g. Catalog #38004) serological pipette, depending on the separation volume. Collect the entire supernatant, all at once, into a single
pipette.

NOTE: Some conical or round-bottom tubes may not position well in the gasket of the EasyEights™ EasySep™ Magnet. If the tube is loose in the gasket, hold the tube in place when pipetting out the cell suspension.

CARE OF MAGNET: After completing a cell separation, wipe the magnet clean with distilled water and then with alcohol to dry the magnet.
To disinfect the magnet, wipe with 10% diluted household bleach and then wipe off with a water-dampened cloth to avoid corrosion of metal
parts. Do not submerge the magnet in liquid.
