Achieving more than 24000 x g, the Scientific Fiberlite F15-8x50c Fixed Angle Rotor is designed for pelleting cells, bacteria, subcellular fractions, and small amounts of nucleic acids and viruses in disposable conical tubes. Supports phase separations and binding studies and can clarify crude lysates from Qiagen® Maxi, and Midi prep protocols.

This rotor can be used for subcellular fractions, bacteria pelleting, lysate clarification, cell membranes, sucrose gradient isolation of mitochondria, endoplasmic reticulum, and gradient separation of cells with Percoll, Ficoll, Optiprep, or Nycodenz solutions.g
