LI-1400 Light Sensor Logger is a multipurpose data logger that can use LI-COR light sensors as well as other sensors with a current, voltage, or pulsed output. It has 10 channels for sensor inputs and nine math channels capable of performing arithmetic operations on the measured data. It  is capable of storing up to 96Kb of data. The battery life depends on the sensors connected and the amount of data recorded, but the logger can be connected to an external battery pack or AC power source for operation longer than what is provided by the internal batteries. Available arithmetic operators include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Available math functions include polynomials, Steinhart-hart function, natural log, saturation vapor pressure, dew point temperature, and wind direction. For sensors with a voltage output, the LI-1400 voltage accuracy is < 0.15 % of full scale readings at 25 °C and  ± 0.15% at temperatures from 0 to 55 °C. For sensors with a current output, the current accuracy is ± 0.3 % of full scale reading at 25 °C and ± 0.5% at temperatures from 0 to 55 °C. The data logger can be configured using its keypad or remotely using Windows Interface Software
