Workstations
A lab hood, or fume hood, is a primary engineering control designed to protect laboratory personnel from toxic vapors, aerosols, and hazardous chemical fumes. It works by drawing air into the enclosed workspace and exhausting it safely out of the building through connected ductwork and roof blowers.
